For al you poor people like me that are up this late working... info on Nissan's awesome R390 car...with 300zx headlights! =) I posted some pics of it a couple days ago, and some seemed interested in it, so here's a little info I could find about it online...enjoy. I'd love to have that engine. Nissan 3.5 litre, V8, twin - turbocharged, R390 GT1 Le Mans race car. Nissan R390s finished 3rd, 5th, 6th and 10th in the 1998 Le Mans 24-hour race. Part of the rules for the GT1 class is that at least one road- registered example must be built.  La-Z-Link La-Z-Link The R390 GT1 took its name from a car, R380, that excited Japanese motor sports enthusiasts over thirty years ago. Jointly developed by Nissan and TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing), the R390 GT1 was the state of the art racing expertise at the time. Aerodynamically refined low and sleek body styling is suggestive of Nissan's highly competitive Gr. C machines raced during the 1980's.
Three R390 GT1's were entered in to the 1997 Le Mans event and, among them, the car No. 21 achieved a pole position in the pre-qualifying race. Although the overall result was rather discouraging, the R390's outstanding performance, displayed during the early stage of the race, was something to behold and promising for the year to come.
